Linda Cox-Hart
Financial Manager
A native of upstate New York, Linda grew up in Black River, NY, a small town thirty miles from the Canadian border. During her childhood, Linda’s parents owned and operated an independent grocery store where both Linda and her brother often “helped out” with chores such as stocking the shelves, delivering groceries on foot, or shoveling the very frequent snow falls from the front walkway.
Following her graduation from Trinity College in Burlington, Vermont, Linda began working in the Banking and Savings & Loan industry and worked in a variety of locations, from Vermont to California to North Carolina. While living in North Carolina in the 1970’s, Linda helped manage an independent wine shop for almost five years and it was during this time that she developed an appreciation of wine. In 1982, Linda went to work for a North Carolina wine and beer wholesale company, American Premium Beverage. While at American Premium Beverage, Linda was involved with all facets of the wine and beer distribution business.
Linda has been involved at Banks Channel since the company’s inception. She manages all the company’s accounting functions and also provides a very experienced industry perspective for the rest of the company.
Linda and her husband live in Winston Salem, NC, where she enjoys gardening, cooking, and making specialty salsas and vinegars for family and friends.
