Kam Wehr
Sales Manager
A native of South Carolina, Kam’s introduction to wine began during her teenage years while she and her family lived in the village of Traben-Trarbach in the Mosel Valley. After spending much of her impressionable youth exploring wine festivals throughout Germany’s wine making regions and tasting many wonderful Rieslings, Kam moved back to the US to attend Wake Forest University. Having earned a B.A. in Politics with Honors and double minors in Anthropology and International Studies, Kam naturally found her niche…in the restaurant industry.
Following graduation from Wake Forest, Kam primarily worked in the Food and Beverage industry in different parts of North Carolina, managing different aspects of both food and beverage programs at several leading restaurants and resorts across the state. Prior to joining Banks Channel, Kam worked for a leading wine retailer in Winston Salem and currently holds her Certified Specialist of Wine accreditation.
Kam has been a part of the Banks Channel team since November 2005 and as Sales Manager for the Atlantic Basin, she assists in the marketing, management and distribution of Banks Channel's brand portfolio throughout the region. Kam is married and spends much of her “free time” trying to keep up with the social schedule of her daughter, Zoe.
