Kris A. Shirley-Endean
Director of Sales
Kris was born in Alexandria, Virginia and lived there through high school. After high school, Kris attended the University of South Carolina at Coastal Carolina College, graduating with a B.A. in Business Administration with a Management major.
After college, Kris moved to Winston Salem, North Carolina to work for Sara Lee Knit Products (SLKP). During her 15 year tenure with SLKP, Kris held multiple positions and received several promotions. From monitoring sewing facilities in Central America and Mexico to dealing with US Customs Compliance on shipment issues to negotiating contracts with vendors, Kris learned first-hand how large corporations conduct business internationally. In her last assignment with SLKP, as Transportation Manager, Kris was in charge of controlling the transportation budget for the entire company.
Kris began her “official” wine career with Bank Channel in early 2004. Prior to joining Banks Channel, Kris expressed her love of wine by enrolling in several local wine education classes and by attending every possible wine event/tasting in the region.
Kris lives in Clemmons, North Carolina with her husband and two children, Graham and Carly. She enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events for her children, travel, reading and of course…drinking great wine.
